Meet Dr. Erin L. McAtee
Dr. Erin L. McAtee has been providing exceptional orthodontic care in the Birmingham area since 1996. She is committed to staying at the forefront of her field and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Alabama Orthodontic Alumni Foundation, and the Birmingham District Dental Society.
A native of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Dr. McAtee completed her undergraduate studies at California State University, Northridge before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She graduated with the prestigious Gold Medal of Honor for achieving the highest scholastic ranking in her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. She then pursued her passion for orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she completed her post-graduate orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics.
Outside of the office, Dr. McAtee loves to travel. Her favorite destinations include France and the stunning beaches along the Gulf of Mexico.
